1Q. Who are the owners and operators?
A. The Gardens of Clinton is owned and operated by Rabin Alexander, LLC. The New York-based company was founded in the 1990’s and today is one of the country’s leading owners of residential rental communities. Rabin Alexander residents can expect a caring and fulfilling senior living experience.
2Q. What is included in the monthly service fee?
A. Your lease includes: Continental Breakfast, GE appliances including a FULL size washer and dryer, once a month housekeeping, 24-hour maintenance emergency pager, medical emergency pull cords in every apartment, bus transportation to and from doctor’s appointments and activities, trash removal and water, and a whole social calendar of events.
3Q. Is there a washer and dryer in my apartment?
A. Yes, each unit has its own washer and dryer with storage shelf.
4Q. Is there a second occupant fee?
A. The answer is NO. There is no extra charge for a second occupant.
5Q. What is NOT included in my monthly services?
A. Gas, electric, telephone, cable, carports, and pets are NOT included in the monthly services.
6Q. What are my cable provider options?
A. Here at The Gardens of Clinton we have AT&T or Comcast for you to choose from.
7Q. Where do I park my vehicle?
A. We have plenty of parking on site. We also have carports for an additional charge if you would prefer a place that is covered. Covered carports are an additional $35/month
8Q. Is there more storage in the community for all of my extra stuff?
A. We do not have extra storage rooms or lockers but our spacious apartments feature a kitchen pantry, walk-in closets in the master bedroom, linen closets, and storage in the laundry area.
9Q. Do I sign a lease?
A. Yes, at The Gardens of Clinton we do have 1 year lease agreements.
10Q. What if I decide to move or I can no longer live at The Gardens of Clinton?
A. We require a 30 day written notice and a letter from your doctor that you are no longer able to live independently if it’s before your renewal period.
11Q. Do we have personalized home care services?
A. Although we are an independent senior community we do offer two companies to help with any extra care needs you may have. Accredited Home Health Care and Peace of Mind Home Care.
12Q. Are pets allowed?
A. We do allow pets under 25 lbs.
13Q. What is our policy on smoking?
A. We are a smoke free facility so there is no smoking anywhere in the building. We do have areas outdoors where you can smoke on the property.
14Q. Is there a meal program?
A. Yes, we offer 7day/week continental breakfast which is included in your rent. Our dinner program is Monday through Friday $7.00/dinner. You can pick and choose which dinners you would like to have. It is not mandatory to use this program. You can pay as you go or prepay.
15Q. Where does our bus take you?
A. We will take you to and from your doctor appointments within our borders, general shopping once a week, grocery shopping once a week, the casino, restaurants, and more… see our monthly calendar for a list of events.
