Testimonials

I have been a resident of The Gardens of Clinton since June 2011. I was impressed with the programs, living conditions, people, and the location. I have seen employees go and come. Each time I have not experienced a decline in the conditions. In fact, recently I have noticed that management has stepped up with more events and a higher level attentiveness towards the building maintenance. I truly commend the staff for the fantastic job they are doing to ensure our comfort and safety. Whenever I have a problem and report it, they always go into action. Thank you.
The apartment complex is very clean and modern. The staff is very caring and helpful, always there for you if you need something. We are close to medical facilities, shopping, and major thoroughfares which is very convenient. Transportation is available whether it be for doctor’s appointments or shopping. The grounds are well-maintained with a gazebo for relaxing and enjoying the fresh air.

My husband and I decided to move into a senior residence in 2011. We chose the Gardens of Clinton because of the location and amenities that they offered. We have the choice of going to the special functions, shopping on the bus, or attending the activities that are held here on a regular basis. There is always something to do or somewhere to go. Yet, we know that if we have an emergency that the response is almost immediate. A clean, friendly, active, and safe environment for any senior. We love living here.

I chose the Gardens of Clinton because when I came in the front door it felt like home. They were having a BBQ. People laughing, having a great time and that is what I wanted. This was a great choice because of the morning breakfast where people gather around a table, eat breakfast, drink coffee, and talk. My husband enjoyed his morning coffee with the men and it gave him the uplift he needed. It is friendly here. People are very supportive when you need them. Very loving staff. I just LOVE it here.

Our journey to the Gardens of Clinton began in 2013 with our retirement. Our goal was to move closer to our grandchildren as we were living in the Denver area. Our son obtained a brochure for us while we were here in Michigan visiting. From the start we knew this would be our new home. From the very day we moved in we felt at home. The apartment was perfect for us. It had an elegant look but still felt homey. It was a joy to put our personal touches on the walls and decorate with our keepsakes. The days that followed were a delight as we met and chatted with friendly residents. We felt safe and comfortable. We enjoyed all the activities and found there was something to do nearly every day if we chose to. This made it a free atmosphere for fellowship or for just staying at home in our quiet place. Our first visit to the dining room for breakfast, coffee and a roll provided by the complex, opened up lively talk around the table. We discussed sports, world events, politics, gas prices, and many other topics. Coffee with our friends is something we look forward to. The complex provides transportation to our doctor appointments on Mondays and Tuesdays. The activities are great. We love to play bingo and pokeno. There are trips to the grocery stores on the Gardens of Clinton bus and trips to the mall. There are trips to the casinos and lunch outings at different restaurants each month. Entertainment is something we have plenty of; country music singers, classical music, Big Band sound, magic acts, and even Mo-Town music came into our dining room and performed for us. There is plenty to do here at the Gardens of Clinton. If you have something else you would like to see or hear, just let the office know and they will do their best to look into it. The apartments are well maintained. The library, with a warm inviting fireplace and comfortable chairs, is stocked with all kinds of reading material. The television room is warm, cozy, and cable ready with a large television screen for you to enjoy. If you enjoy puzzles, there are plenty for you to do on the tables provided. The grounds are well maintained. There is a beautiful gazebo where you can sit and enjoy the flowers and fresh air or read your favorite novel. The Gardens of Clinton has made our retirement a joyous change. Come join us and make your life changes joyous as well. Maybe we will see you at breakfast for some lively chat.
